Private application · Public case description
Studio
An agent-assisted desktop application for planning and producing short-form video across scripting, media selection, editing, quality control, approval, and export workflows.
Claim boundary: Studio is not presented as a released or production-ready product. Verified local and component paths remain separate from unresolved real-provider and end-to-end creative acceptance gates.
What I did
I defined the product vision, architecture, workflow boundaries, acceptance criteria, and human approval gates, then directed and verified implementation by coding agents.
- Translated the intended creative workflow into bounded implementation assignments and dependency-aware acceptance gates.
- Preserved product scope across long-running agent work and distinguished genuine blockers from obsolete or speculative requirements.
- Commissioned independent reviews and corrective passes rather than treating agent completion claims as acceptance evidence.
- Required rollback behavior, protected-asset boundaries, explicit provider-call authorization, and human creative approval at consequential points.
- Maintained records that separate implemented behavior, verified behavior, manual observation, blocked testing, and unfinished work.
Quality and reliability work
Studio repeatedly exposed the difference between a passing component and a working product.
- A successful unit suite did not establish that renderer code would work in the browser runtime.
- An artifact existing on disk did not establish that it contained valid, playable media.
- Implementation presence did not establish that a connected creative workflow was usable.
- A coding agent reporting completion did not establish that the required acceptance evidence existed.
The resulting process checks work at multiple boundaries: unit behavior, compilation and build, desktop startup, runtime errors, host integration, media validity, connected workflow behavior, and human creative acceptance.
What the project demonstrates
- Agent-assisted technical product direction
- Requirements decomposition and scope preservation
- Systems QA, acceptance testing, and integration investigation
- Human-in-the-loop workflow design
- Evidence-based completion decisions
- Technical handoffs and long-running project continuity
